Sample Diet
Drink lots of water (at least 2 liters)
First 2 days on the drops eat LOTS of fattening food! This is very important to jump start the metabolism and sets the level of the HCG. Eat all day!!!!
Take HCG drops for 23 days, then no drops for the last three days, but continue to diet until all HCG is flushed from your system until you reach day 26.
Breakfast:
Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk is allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be used.
Lunch:
1.100 grams of meat for example: BEEF, CHICKEN BREAST, TURKEY, FRESH WHITE FISH, LOBSTER, CRAB, OR SHRIMP**.
2. VEGETABLE: choose one of the following- spinach, asparagus, cabbage, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions (all kinds), chicory, beet-greens, red radishes, cucumbers or chard.
3. One breadstick (grissini) or one Melba toast.
4. An APPLE or a handful (6-9) of STRAWBERRIES or one-half GRAPEFRUIT, ORANGE * (you may have your fruit with your breakfast or as a snack) you get 2 a day and can eat them when you want to.
Dinner:
The same choices as lunch. It is best to alternate. If you had chicken for lunch, then do beef or a sea item listed above.
Tea, Coffee, plain water or mineral water are the allowed and they may be taken in any quantity and at all times. The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt (minimal), pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., may be used for seasoning. But NO OIL, BUTTER or DRESSING.

Phase 1: Loading
Phase 1: LoadingPhase 1 of the HCG diet is the part that is probably the easiest. Whether you are using HCG drops or injections this phase is the same. For 3 days you will gorge yourself on high fat foods intentionally trying to eat as much as possible, to the point that you are uncomfortable. The purpose of this phase is to prepare for phase 2 and to get the body really full of fatty food so the HCG can start to tell the body what to do with it and how to process it.
Phase 2: HCG With Low Calorie Diet
Phase 2: HCG With a Low Calorie DietPhase 2 of the HCG diet is where all or most of the weigh is lost. You will continue to take the HCG hormone for either 26 or 43 days. If you have more weight to lose then you should consider the full 43 day cycle, if you have under 20 lbs to lose then the 26 day phase should be sufficient. During this cycle you will follow a strict low calorie diet. From Dr. Simeons research he suggests that during this phase while the human body is subject to HCG and a low calorie diet that the body handles fat similar to how a pregnant woman’s body processes fat and instead of burning muscle for energy like it wants to it takes the fat reserves and either burns them as energy or exscreets them in the urine. The hormone also acts as an appetite suppressant which helps while on a low calorie diet. Sticking to the HCG diet plan as close as possible will help make the diet more successful.
Phase 3: Maintenance
Phase 3: MaintenancePhase 2 is complete, whether it is the 26 day cycle or the 43 day cycle then the next step is the maintenance phase. The purpose of this phase is the HCG diet plan is to help the human body adjust back to a more normal diet while at the same time help reset the metabolism so the weight lost while on the diet is long lasting and is not gained back. Phase 3 is an important part of the diet plan and should be followed.
